I want to meet up with a friend in Girne, somewhere nice and clean where we can have a cuppa and a chat.

Does anyone have any suggestions please.

Thank you

Cafe de Paris is nice - just across from the main car park.

Msg 3

No, but at least the owner speaks French as the name of suggests and is probably the best value for money in central Girne. 3.50TL for bottled 50cl Efes gets my custom every time I'm in town.

Thank you for that suggestion, I will try it out.

We are fed up of going to Cafe Dukkan and Ezic Premier, so any other suggestions would be welcome.

Looseboots,

I much prefer to try the drink than the burger!

There are also dog biscuits called Scooby Snacks and a song by Fun Loving Criminals (but not my type of music)

Back in Time Cafe and Bar. Great location down by Kasgar Court Hotel. Right on the sea front, inside or out lovely views and nice and relaxing. Drinks of all kinds and food is always available. You will not be disappointed by the location.

Try it and report back.

Cafe Rouge, Windows , Shiraz and a new one are all beside each other at the beginning of the High St in Girne,

by the square behind the Colony Roundabout. They are equally pleasant places to sit for drinks or lunches ,

very popular with the brits and locals, and easy to find as well.

essexgirl. agree with you can't walk past there without calling in for a Latte, they also make a nice cup of tea, very relaxing sit and watch the world go by without the hassle of being pushed out, the staff are nice always have a chat.

I must agree, Micksturbs, we had lunch at back in time on Saturday, bangers, mash, peas and

onion gravy, yummy. All for 12tl each. If you go during the week, 12 - 2pm, they are doing two lunches

for 15tl, !!!!!!! I'll be back for that one.
