Hello all. Just wondering where you guys recommend to buy outdoor lights to go around our pool.

Had a quote of GBP100 for four small pole like lights from a lighting place near Lapta, but it seems a little expensive.

Any help much appreciated.

I purchased four steel lights from the lighting shop near the big roundabout which takes you out to Nicosia

Recall paying at least £30 per light so your quote seems about right

Suspect you'd pay the same in B and Q here

They look great tho

The metal stand mounted lights supplied by our builder rotted away very quickly at the base due to the salty sea air I guess. The replacement ones I bought in Super Home Centre are much more solid but time will tell. The cost about 85 Euros a pop...

£100 for 4 sounds very cheap.

And do you really think this interests us in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus?! No? Then why do you post it on this TRNC board..?!

Try Electokurs in Girne, do a left at the Lefkosia roundabout from the Colony Road and Electrokurs is on the left. They have a huge selection, ask nicely and he will give you a 20% discount. Prices in the south have

exploded, don't waste your time.

Used Electrokur for all our lighting inside and out. Good range to choose from good prices and always give a discount on everything. Good price on water coolers. My first one went wrong and they gave me a new one 10 months later with no argument at all.
