Woke to heavy layer of snow this a.m and lots of power cuts! What a contrast from last week

in N.Cyprus when we were there! Schools are closed because of power cuts and more snow

forecast for tonight (even though it has turned to rain) Just when we though Spring was on the way!

Wish I was back there now! Strong winds too making it worse. Staying in and cooking good

homely stews and soups now.

Daughter who works in Glasgow says no snow there at all (like before) seems to be everywhere else though!

Don't think I'll be back in N.C until July as I can spend longer then as daughter-in-law takes time off for the kids

and am not needed here so much.

Here on the North West Coast it is blowing a gale and is raining again.

Last night we had thunder and lightning and hailstones besides the gale force wind.

I pity any of the tourists coming here for the weekend for a break because they will get blown off the pier for sure. The shops will be pleased because they will be full of bored holiday makers.
