Help my gym has moved - Mercure Hotel -> Starling

My gym used to be near the Mercure Hotel (the gym with the yellow peeling walls and damp carpets) but it has moved. Of course there is no map of the new location on the window nor a phone number to call. There was one chap (actually imbecile) standing inside the old building but repeated attempts to get the new location produced only the word "starling" repeatedly. I did go to Starling and try to ask the casher if she knew of a new gym opening nearby, but unfortunately without luck.

Well I did look across the road of course but still did not see it. at least I now know it is the opposite side to starling. i am making far more progress than i did with the retard.



can anyone add the next critical bit of detail- towards kyrenia or lapta - then the last bit of info how far.

There was people working out in there last night, so def. up and running now. Just to clarify, it's opposite the Lapta Starling not the Alsancak Starling.

I hate to say this but if you cannot find it from the info given so far then If I was you I would certainly think twice about calling anyone a 'retard/imbecile'.

Give it another week and if you still cannot find it then I am more than willing to pick you up and transport you to your required destination.

Comming towards girne from the fountain roundabout there is a starling on the right side of the road.



Opposite i think is Mr pound shop. there is a gym above them shops there,sort of across the road from the Mercedes garage.

From my iPhone... One mile past the golden lady coming from kyrenia is a huge starling on the right had side. Opposite it is a wasteland and a set of shops including pools r us. Carrying on another four miles I find no more starlings so far.. To be continued ...

Actually there are no Starlings in lapta! They are both in Alsancak! I have no idea where the Gym is BUT i can gather from the previous posts its near Kingston Kebabs - not really opposite Starlings - but not far away!

Just kidding of course. For anyone who cares I finally going the gym 0.3 miles away from the big starling on the other side of the road back towards kyrenia. You can see the yellow machines in the window from the road.

Yea I was just thinking it is advertising the gym.... and it is now the one that has had its location property described... but trust me I did not set out to advertise it... now I might have to compete for running machine space.

It is hard to understand what message 38 is all about but maybe 'willyhoops' was referring to 'mormons' as opposed to 'morons' as I don't recognise the word 'mornon' but maybe that is a composite word that describes his/hers feelings towards one or the other or both.
