Ordered luxury red roses in gold vase for hubby's mums 80th Birthday tomorrow. She phoned tonight to say thanks for the flowers they were NICE a half dozen pink roses with something else.

A 21 minute phone call to Interflora and the best I got was "will phone you back tomorrow".

Normally I would not check what kind of flowers, as ordered over the internet, usually no problems but just goes to show you should always check.

Even phoned Mum back to make the flowers and card were definitely from us, she was not impressed, she may be 80 but certainly not daft.

This is so sad, the flowers you sent me last year were absolutely beautiful. Hope you get it fixed out.

I stopped using Interflora when they sent a crap bunch of flowers to my sister in hospital after first bout of cancer.

I now use Sendabunch. They are based in Guersey, ALWAYS send beautiful flowers that last and last AND they are MUCH cheaper. http://www.sendabunch.co.uk/

They have never let me down in 6 years of using them.

Hi Sue,

I have never heard of Sendabunch but can't believe how much cheaper they are than Interflora after just a quick look at their website.

Thanks very much for the link I will be using them from now on.

I am not finished with Interflora yet though, 21 mins last night on the phone I certainly won't be happy until I get my money back.

Chris, I was a teleflorist member in UK. They are less expensive than interflora, but still have a relay and a standard delivery charge.

Persue your complaint with interflora, but go to their head office. You should receive a full refund for their mistake.

The H.O. details should be found online.

I've just looked on the realflowers website, a tad expensive for my liking. Nothing under £35.

Also 'bunches'.... 20 stems of freesias, £17.99 !!!!!!!!!!!! yeah righto, that equates to approx £8 when

purchased from a florist shop. No wonder they can offer 'free' chocolates, and it looks like that is

what you get, a bunch of freesias.

jenfarrell, how are they presented when delivered please?,

flowerfairy I have been using Bunches for a couple of years now - sent my Mum in law for birthdays, Christmas & anniversaries - have never actually seen the flowers but she always rings to say how lovely they are - and we're talking one quite fussy lady who would certainly not keep quiet if they weren't up to scratch!!

Well mystery finally solved last night.

Hubbies brother (who lives on the dark side) sent flowers to be delivered on the 1st and the florist got the cards mixed up.

So mum thought we had bought the pink roses (cheaper bunch) when they arrived Thursday.

Then yesterday our flowers arrived at mums with hubby's brothers card on!!!

However I phoned Interflora on Thursday night (21mins) the call was not logged as I found out yesterday when I phoned again.

The girl yesterday promised that someone would telephone me within 2 hours,, still waiting!

Will not be using Interflora again which is a shame as I have used them for the last 20 years, so their loss.
