Sorry Henrik, I have just put a posting and you have beaten me by a couple of minutes. Howevefr, as I understand it, they want comments from people living in Cyprus as well as Cypriots. I have put mine in, and suggest that other caring, thinking ex pats posts comments too. Thanks for beating me toit, but I could have been put off if I thought it was only Cypriots who could comment.

The BBC are usually more on the ball than this - perhaps it reflects the BBC cutbacks?

In any event you don't need a crystal ball to see the way things are going here. Talat will be ousted and the TRNC will become a totally legal and seperate entity. However Turkey's views on that scenario are not fully known, vis-a-vis their EU Application.
