| In todays paper CTthe article is a bit of a let down- the amount of pictures taken of 2 houses and the damage done by the floods and rain has hardly got a mention and my statement ref the damage has not been quoted just the 'off the cuff' remark about endangering health it did not achieve what I wished and the builder has not done all that has been brought to his attention! Also the Turk.Cyp. builders have got to change the way in which they build now for example cavity walls and airbricks etc to compete with the climatic change as we have experienced for the last 2 winters 09 into 2010 is a good example ! Here in North Cyprus they should be having a good look at themselves and bring their constructions up to date because much more of this type of weather will rot the houses away ?We will outlive the property ! However another week to visit the builder in front of me ! bye all......if any luck happens I will write about it......... |

| Most of the properties here are built to a standard that will not withstand the current levels of rain that we have had recently. If this type of weather continues every year and should get worse then the answer to your question - "Will we outlive the property" - is yes. |
