Hi

We're bringing our 7 month old daughter out there in May for the first time.

Could anyone tell me what the super markets stock in the lines of babyfood and nappies.

Do they sell ready made cartons of SMA follow on milk? Do they sell pampers nappies?

Hope you can help.

Many thanks

Penny,

Most of the supermarkets sell nappies including pampers, the only thing they don't appear to have is 'swim nappies'.

Have seen the tins of SMA on the shelves but not the ready made cartons.

Hi Penny

We took loads of jars/tins of baby food in September forour grandson but didn't use many. I have loads still left with long best before dates. We left them there because my other daughter was due to come with us in September but she has just found out she is due to have another baby in October so can't come. If you would like these please drop me an email at linnyloos@live.co.uk and I can arrange for them to be left for you. Ready made jars are quite expensive compared to here.

Hey Penny,

We have a 7 month old too, he gets Aptimel milk and i'm sure i've seen the SMA too.

I wouldn't bother with the jars of stuff as they are really expensive (OK for day trips) The veggies in the stalls and markets are straight out of the ground... very fresh so he gets filled with all those goodies and absolutely loves it!!! They have Aptimel porridge oats that are great for breakfast and before bed, haven't seen that in UK

Watch the Bottled mineral water for the milk, some have very high sodium levels, The lowest concentrations of minerals is in "Ekralik", which is hard to find sometimes but defo the lowest of all, Nestle -for life stuff is very low in sodium but high in other things, so defo go for the Ekralik, save you searching around, i spent days looking, with some funny looks for reading the labels and then running out the shop.

Anyway as the legendary rasta man once said.... "Don't Worry, .......about a thing!"
