Hi tonights 20tl for 3 courses menu is as follows. Rocket salad with sundried tomatoes with riccota cheese with a french dresssing or prawn salad with a spicy marie rose sauce, followed by Penne Turandot (blue cheese and crushed walnuts, spinach in a cream and white wine sauce or chicken livers with bacon in a mushrom and red wine sauce. to end bread and butter pudding or strawberries with ice cream. Sounds like most of the previous menus advertised on this board.

Perhaps it is time that there was a specific 'section' purely for restauants who wish to advertise there current menus and offers as the continuous steam of threads from Guidos. Al Shaheen and other are just clogging up the message index....alternatively perhaps the patrons of these establishments may want to start paying advertising monies to Cyprus 44 just as other businesses have to. On Cyprus 44 there is information and news and then there is pure unadulterated advertising of which I hope the former is the the basis of this forum and not the latter, though you could have fooled me lately.

I for one enjoy reading what's on the menu whether I'm here or back in the UK. You do not need to open the threads if you don't want to as the titles usually indicate the contents.

If Guidos hadnt put the information on here my familly and I would not have been aware of the restaurant and missed out on a superb meal during our visit. I am very happy for this to carry on.

Blimey Silverfox! and all you did was express an opinion!

I think it would be good if all restaurants paid to advertise. They could all be put into the restaurant tag and if people wanted to find out what was going on in various restaurants then they could look into the tag.

If all restaurants paid 2.5 lira per advert then this would also help Izzet towards the running cost of this site.

I agree silverfox its your right to voice an opinion on here and its the same old same old all the time. This restaurant has 3 different threads on here going at the same time and if they all done this there would be nobody interested in this site. I agree there should be a different site for advertising a business on here.
