It's always difficult thinking up something you'll remember. If you must use words or numbers (like birthdates or years) that mean something to you, best bet is to use a combination of letters and numbers, upper and lower case. I also use punctuation, though not all websites are able to accept that.

For example New-1066Life; This is a strong password and much harder to break.

Use a password generator to be safe: http://www.google.com/search?q=generate%20password&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8



Store your passwords on your hard disk in a special protected program and NEVER allow your web browser to store them. Don't make it easy for the crooks out there.

Store your passwords on a USB memory stick and store that in your safe! That used to be "store on a floppy disk" but time has moved on! Oh My...............



Try this if you don't want to use a password generator:



No1r-HDDTCATF;



Figure it out and then make up your own - it is so simple its silly but there are so many to choose from and you would never forget it.
