I read some reports of 'dirty election tactics' in America. Some reports were:

An apparent attempt to suppress the vote had been uncovered in Virginia -a traditionally safe Republican state where Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama held a healthy lead.

A flier was circulated in the Hampton Roads area telling supporters of Obama's Democratic party that they should vote on Nov. 5 - which is actually the day after the election.

According to other reports, fliers were circulated in parts of Philadelphia with large African-American populations warning that anyone with outstanding tickets or warrants will be arrested when they show up to vote.

In 2006, Republicans in upstate New York accused Democrats of calling voters at the last minute and directing them to incorrect polling places.

Will we get 'dirty tactics' in the UK election?

Politicians are like babies nappies, they both need changing regularly and for the same reason

In TRNC, 'six of one - half a dozen of the other' seems to be 'the name of the game' - still nothing gets done, except to maintain the 'status quo' of the ruling classes.
