Heard on The BBC news this morning that New employment laws out today to be implemented next year . Men can now share maternity leave with there partners . Example the female can take six months off work then the male can swop her and have six months off. Is this another burden on employers in the UK or is it Just.? your views please.

A possible further burden on the welfare state. Personally I'd rather stay at work rather than take time off.

This is discrimination against childless men.

Would have thought the fathers would be glad to go to work to escape all the noise and screaming and dirty nappies

An over indulgent 'impregnation' of Efes could be the cause of that lump in your jumper, Brins!

My son, who is in the RAF, has just been sent home from Afghanistan two weeks before his wifes child is due. He will be on paternity leave until two weeks after the birth.

All on full pay and danger money.
