I was recently given a petrol chainsaw - probably bought at B&Q in UK. It has been left standing and consequently all the fuel tubing has perished. Yesterday, I went all around the industrial estate in Lefkosa ( where Kumruk/Customs is situated), but nowhere sells petrol tubing for a petrol powered chainsaw, strimmer, etc., neither do they know where to buy it - at least, nobody that I spoke to.

Usually, if a chainsaw has a proper service, all this tubing should be replaced and the service/repair outfit should stock it, but in TRNC is it and do they?

It's quite annoying, because I've already brought the other spare parts from UK (Solent Tools, Hampshire - a really helpful bunch of guys!), but forot to include *petrol fuel tubing in my order. It's no use recommending model aircraft/car engine fuel tubing, as these engines mostly run on a methanol/oil mix and this type of fuel tubing, although the correct size, simply turns to 'jelly' if used for a petrol application.

Help!

Thanks fellas!

Much tubing is colour coded nowadays, although some (petrol) sold is still clear, or black. Petrol, for instance, is yellow.

Does anybody know of a chainsaw/mower service shop in Girne district.

Also, is the model radio control car shop on the road to GAU still trading/open?
