Is it cheaper to get your Reading Glasses in TRNC or UK? Any idea an a trendy pair of reading glasses? Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Optician? Timescale involved if you have your prescription?

I always buy my reading glasses from Akay Optics in Girne. They are excellent - I have even posted them a broken pair and the service was excellent.

My husband buys his from Akay optic when we are in the TRNC, last ones cost about 15TL and this was 2 months ago. Obviously these are just the cheap off the shelf ones with basic lens.
