We have a freesat card and want to bring it over for our tv in TRNC. If it is registered to a tv in Britain will it work in our Sky box over there. We have not had the card long and we now have to register it, but don't know what to tell Sky - we don't want to say we are using it in Cyprus, but wondered if it is registered in the UK will it work over there.

Will it work in our old Sky box? We have an HD box and want to bring our old box over to use with the Freesat card.

Does anyone know?

Best to get the card activated before you bring it over.Calls to sky can be expensive.

Yes, it will work OK but you'll only get those freesat channels your dish size will allow. a 1.8m dish will get you ITV1, and Ch5. You'll need a 4.2m dish to get all the rest, such as the BBC channels.
