I got a message from Turkcell on my mobile,

telling me I could get 200 units if I bought 100 units.

When I bought the 100 units, the message & info re how to claim my free units dissapeared.

Message read "send 200 to ????" can't remember the number.

Anyone know how I can claim my units?

Hi Navek,



I think it is 8780 it is on mine.



I usually send this with the message Depom and the amount of units, then I get the reply in Turkish again and then the units are there.

Send to 8780 as said in post one but type into the body of your message 'store' then a space followed by the amount eg store 200 then you should receive a confirmation text

If you buy 100 units send text saying 200 to 1011.

Then you will get 200 units but you can only use to call other turkcell phones and just for 1 week. No texts.

Just noticed, my 100 units have been transfered in with the other 100 free units.

So when I use my phone, a message plays, saying my credit's low :-(

But when I dial *123# my credit is now minus units!

Although when I dial *123*7# my credit was 200 units, strange :-0

Seems that if you go for the free units, they're all bundled together,

and could only last for one week.

Which means I'll now need to buy more credit,

to be able to send text messages :-(

Hi, I also received a message about sending a text to 8780. Am I able to claim free credits cos I'm on contract???!!!



Oh, and if anyone knows how to change the messages from Turkcell from Turkish to English I'd be very grateful if you could talk me through, I've pressed every button and nothing seems to work. I don't care what they think, my Turkish is definitely not improving because of it!

Hi darkeyes,

For normal Turkcell credit dial *123#

Once you've applied for extra free units.

For this promotion dial *123*7#

Hope all my units don't go walkies at the end of this promotion, 16th Apr.
