Excellent food, service and surroundings. A birthday celebration and they had decorated the table with rose petals and a cake was arranged. Can thoroughly recommend for that special occasion.

Thank you for the birthday good wishes. Msg 2 - Sorry no leftovers apart from a lovely fresh fruit birthday cake - would that be acceptable for you know who? Maggie - yes had a really nice evening - Stevie Wonder sang and only 2 candles on the cake! Really looking forward to that lunch in May xx

I went in March for my B'day and like you say sandie its a nice place and not over priced.

I didn't get a fresh fruit birthday cake though, mine was banoffie cake :-(

Steak is good, Although I had a special "surf and turf", steak with lobster tail. Like I say steak was nice but lobster tail had been frozen and was not very nice.

Ps, they dim the lights and play a happy birthday song in front of everybody, so if that's not your thing don't tell them its your b'day. But then no cake.

Thanks Phil for your good wishes. Yes they did the cake bit but it was nice and fortunately I blew the candles out OK! Steak was very good and King Prawn starter very tasty.
