we have a 10 month old male dog called "BUSTER" who our children no longer want to walk!, he is an excellent guard dog and is very protective, if ANYONE would like to have him please call (phone number removed, AJ) we got him from KAR in September 2009. not sure of his breed, he is what appears to be a very varied mixture.

thanks for the advice...............................you could always walk it for me as you OBVIOUSLY have time on your hands. i should have llistened to my friends and not even bothered with this forum as it clearly only entertains those with nothing better to do other than feel the need to mock other peoples Dilemas. only GROWN UPS would respond sensibly!!

If you read and understand all the work and effort people on this forum put into finding stray and "dumped" dogs new homes, Then you would understand why. Because your children no longer want to walk him any more is a poor excuse to get rid of an animal.

RE msg 1, fayharty: Your sons (10 & 13 years old), your dog, your problem - and you get angry when people here make you look into the mirror! You are one incredible mum. :-( You certainly win the prize for the most ridiculous reason to get rid of your "pet". Aren't you ashamed of yourself?!

I really cannot believe what I'm reading. What did you expect members on here to say? Since when do children dictate what they will or won't do? As a parent you should be setting an example and make them be responsible towards this dog.

Re message 5. A Dilemma of your own making. Have your delightful sounding children got the old folks home sussed out for you for when you are surplus to their requirements!

So Fayharty, you can't control your children and you obviously can't manage to get out of bed half an hour earlier to walk your dogs or spend half an hour less in front of the TV at night. I pity the poor dog who obviously thought it had a "forever" home and put it's trust in you. You deserve whatever stick you get on here for being so thoughtless.
