Hi i was wondering if anyone can help.... what is the situation here regarding working with a work permit and running a business at the same time. Can yu work for a company and have a work permit for them and also set up your own business working from home?



I have a work permit so im legal right? or is the work permit just for that company? I am asking as i was going to try and set something up from home of an evening, or get an eveing job as well as working in the day?

A little confusing but the best option is to ask advice from an accountant...they would have the accurate answer for your question.

You can only work legally for the company that is paying your insurance and tax - so no, you cannot legally set up on your own in this situation.
