My TC friend took his car (bought new at Honda Lefkosa - Honda CRV) back to UK - it had to have several expensive modifications, which included changing the speed/mileometer (Km) clock. He only took it because it was less than a year old. 'A bloody expensive nightmare!' he told a group of us.

Makes absolutely no economical sense to take the car back to UK !!!

1. He will get a far higher resale price selling it here in the TRNC, probably sufficient to buy the same car brand new in UK.

2. None of the hassle and expense of having to transport the vehicle to UK and the expensive modifications required to make the car UK legal.
