| Max - I'll be tuned in and turned on (as they used to say in the days of my misspent youth) Looking forward to the next couple of weeks, too. Big favour - could you possibly include "The Way You Do The Things You Do" in the Temptations show please? With thanks. Jean |

| Jeannie, The very first track is 'The Way You Do The Things You Do' followed by 'It's Growing & Don't Look Back'. Alsancak Jack, The Holland/Dozier/Holland tribute reflects the 7 year period (1963-1970) where their music dominated soul in terms of commercial success sporting numerous chart toppers on both sides of the Atlantic. The early stuff at Motown includes Heatwave, Baby I Need your loving, right through to when they left Motown and wrote & produced for Freda Payne and Chairman Of The Board. Along with Smokey Robinson & Norman Whitfield their compositions must have contributed to 75% of the Motown success story. I'll even play a track from the 'so called' can't sing Eddie Holland. It's no secret that the group they preferred and worked with the best, The Four Tops, were the most succesful act from the Motown stable. Max.... |
