Plenty of 'tackling' shops heading out of Karsiyaka towards Guzelyurt, good opening hours too, well into the early hours!

The best one is opposit HSBC bank and down a bit. the other one is opposit hurdeniz the fish mongers. its ultimately cheaper to go to hurdeniz though. What fish do you try for?

Kingfisher Marine have plenty of fishing tackle ,plus clothing, and Daryl the owner is an expert fisherman himself and will give you all the help you need. His tel:8159257. His shop, is on the road leading from the roundabout on the Nicosia road to the Bellapais traffic lights, on the left hand side. You can't miss it, there is a tree outside with enormous coloured balls hanging on it.

The marine shop going up the mountain towards Lefkosa has a large range of Rapala and wilkison lures, as well as other bits and pieces, my husband says they are very well priced and cheaper then on the south.

Kingfisher is a great for rods and lines as well.

Thanks for all your info guys. Actually it's not fish I'm after, my hubby has a supplier of very good quality fishing pliers and wanted to talk to people who might want to buy.
