appartly it's meant to end on the 21st Dec 2012, so I told my kids I wouldn't bother buying xmas presents until the 22nd. Can't be bothered with the stress of shopping if they aren't going to be able to enjoy them.

So Greece wont have time to pay back. Letty, the earth would need to spin in the other direction for that to happen... as it's to do with water further away from the earth's equator travelling at a slower speed than water that's closer to the equator as the earth rotates..

The 2012 prediction was also supposed to have been made by the Chinese around the 10th/11th Century about 100 years before the Myans ' Long Count calendar ' which experts have claimed do not contain any predictions of a diaster and liken it to the Y 2 K bug.
