Mickey - I have no idea but if you go onto our http://www.flightholiday.co.uk web site we have an affiliate link to a ferry broker they might be able to help.

Try Italy (Brindisi) to Greece ferry, then drive to Turkey.

Italy try Ancona on the NE coast or Brindisi at the very south to Igoumenita or Patras in Greece. Then overland to Turkey.

Why not drive all the way to tasacu. Best route into hungary, on into serbia, across into bulgaria and then into turkey, watch your speed in bulgaria any excuse and they'll stop you, a good tip is go through bulgaria at night obeying speed limits as its difficult to see you GB plate, you can almost see them shaking there heads as you go past and they realise your a brit, also go inland when travelling down through Turkey as its quicker and always stay behind someone who is also in a bit of a hurry, do not pass them as they will be done for speeding and not you, police checks quite frequent through Turkey. Apart from the ferry to Cesme this is the best route. Good luck and drive sensibly

Thanks for all your replies, we drove down to Bari in Italy and took the overnight ferry to Igioumensta Greece, then drove thru Greece into Turkey, down to Tasuca arriving in Girne new harbour Thursday morning, and we had the dog with us, not a bad journey, the worst being exiting Turkey, paperwork a hassle, and entry to Cyprus, paperwork a hassle, but hey ho now we are here, Hurrah!!!!!!

Yep Mikey, the worst bit is the ferry from hell from Tasucu. Glad you made it safely. Did it myself recently. It's something to chat about at dinner parties to get off the election talk.

Hi I drove down through Bulgaria and got stopped for speeding but got away with it as I did not have any euros or US dollars and after a lot of crying and arguing he gave up and let me go with a severe rollicking, seems they don't like sterling or credit cards I consider myself very lucky as I was really going for it ,but I should of learnt my lesson as they had me in turkey
