Hopefully many more 1-2's to come for the pair of Englishmen . Great race and the rain came down just at the right time !! I thought God may have been higher placed because of the rain .Nice to see Rosberg doing well .

Good race by Hamilton and a superb overtaking manoeuvre over Schuey. But I question the teams strategy. Why 4 stops for Hamilton and only 2 for Button?

Maybe JB is easier on his tyres ???

He is very smooth at the wheel,so stop/start circuits do hurt his style,a true drivers driver !!!

So much for Shumacher the "stock car" driver....

Jensen is definitely easier on tyres than Lewis, he's now got a good car and is able to show his true abilities.

The other thing worth mentioning is that the lottery that is 'qualifying' is at least not leading to a procession from the grid. Both Jensen and Lewis made up four places a piece to take their place...

Over the Team Radio, Webber moaned about Lewis forcing his way through, what a wimp! He got his reward for rear-ending in Lewis in the last race... Lewis used a bit of his trademark aggressive driving much in the vein of the 'Master' Schumacher in his hay-day.

It's a shame to see Schummy humiliated, I don't think he should have come back... he was always on a hiding to nothing I feel.

I think that Button's decision to stay out on slicks when the rest of the field went onto intermediates is what paved the way for his win. Bold decision which ultimately paid off. Good effort Jenson !!

Jenson (sorry about spelling your name wrong above - knew it as soon as I hit the tit! Doh!) has made a few good calls about tyres and race conditions... Lewis says growing up he wanted to be JB... and so it is.

JB was awesome on cold slicks in F3 when I saw him,a wet, windy Thruxton,he destroyed the field.

A good learning to bring forward to what is now effectively "grown up" F3 ???

Button or Hamilton - As long as one of them wins it doesn't matter.

Re : Msg. 7&10,

Dear Rigsby,

No , I am not going to mention....

I just want to cheer you up with some news about our second favourite person - Bernie.

Bernie has already warned some European countries that their grand prix faces the axe as he tries to make way for new venues : with India penciled for its debut season, the calendar will be extended to 20 races.

I wrote about his proposal of "chariot races" in Rome. Now, guess what, MOSCOW is for a place on the calendar, with 2012 being named as a possible date for the debut season! And then,of course, New York in 2013.

I wonder, what next - perhaps Afghanistan ( Tora Bora GP ?) or Iraq ( Green Zone circuit ?).
