It is impossible (for me) to access the web site of Bayrak where I hoped to read something in English about the elections. Am I the only one with this problem? Any other TC web site with the information I'm looking for?

"Bayrak Radio-TV (Northern Cyprus) - operates Bayrak Radio 1 (in Turkish), Bayrak International (in English), Bayrak FM and Bayrak Klasik".

Hans i doubt very much if you will find english results just yet, the boxes are being counted and early results being given live on all TV stations, not looking good for Talat

I have just looked at the graphs area by area and the only place that Talat won is Leftcosia by a small margin. In Iskele the other bloke got 65% and Talat only got 27%.

On this web site http://www.ubpbim.com/ it's not even close: Talat swept away! I know, it's unofficial.

If you want to compare todays results with the Presidential elections in 2005: http://www.allcrusades.com/BB_pics/Pres_election_2005_TRNC_web.gif

Iskele was the place where they even put up security cameras to film people which go to Talats election campaign. Its a place where the UBP mafia has taken over already..

On the other hand I have a theorie that this is all pre assembled; So, Eroğlu wins, then he gets the "cyprus file" on his desk, pressure from turkey will follow, he needs to agree or they will cut the finances, so he will agree to the same points as Talat would have done. Then, the referandum point comes, as UBP and Eroğlu have "achived" this solution for the cyprus problem, UBP followers will vote for YES like Talats followers (peace willings), which will be a huge majority. This will make the unificaton possible. If Talat continiues, the referandum vote for a YES would be a play with the fire.

Keep this in mind what I wrote!
