Bit quiet lately on the footie front from the likes of Goonerboy, Goonerstan, Lambousa Gordon, 'Arry, and their cohorts,

Wonder why?

Reply from a Gooner. Lets face it, they did not have the squad to make a concerted challenge for the championships Premier/Euro. However, just look at the money spent by the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, Man U over the past 2 years on players and wages, with the latter 2 clubs approaching the

precipice of financial ruin. Arsenal, still paying off the Emirates I believe but financially solvent. Hopefully

next season will see some SMART money spent on strengthening the squad. With Wenger I'm always

hopeful. Let's see what happens next season and reminisce.

Just back from the DW stadium

AWESOME result for little old Wigan Athletic it wasnt that long ago we humbled the mighty Chelsea and the Bindippers at the DW stadium today was just fantastic I would have settled for 2 2 as I had Sir Titus Bramble at 33/1 for the last goal but hey when Lord Charles N'Zogbia hit a fantastic winner the money didnt matter all that matters is "WE ARE STAYING UP"

Keep posting

Keep smiling

Wenger will have to start spending some money if he want to win the Premiership.

Woolwich at £101million have the fourth biggest payroll in the country.

So pleading financial prudence doesn't quite work.

Chris; did you mean what's a gonner here?

Msg 9, take note, I was referring to wages coupled with capital expenditure on the influx of overpriced primadonnas, something which seldom happens at ARSENAL and something which will keep the club in

good stead. Watch the others old boy, let see what happens hey, as I said lets reminisce come May 11.

So;

enlighten me,

why didn't they have the squad to tackle all the known fixtures?

Given that we are only really talking about Europe and the prem.

Don't cite injuries as Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, and Pool have also had them in abundance.

Old boy.

Msg 11. refer you to my initial response (Msg 2) to your posting. Crystal clear really, one does not want to repeat oneself, does one, old boy.
