Hi All



I'm looking to buy a car around the 2-4k price range. Does anybody have anything for sale? Any garage recommendations? etc. I'm open to ideas on what I buy - old/new, large/small, quirky/boring...

We bought ours from Osmanlızade Oto Motors on the main road from Lefkoşa roundabout heading towards Famagusta, on the right side. He has lots of second hand cars, good standards and reasonable prices by TRNC standards! Osman was very good, had the car mechanics checked over, he checked there were no outstanding debts on the car for us before we committed to buy, put on new tyres and cleaned it all out for us before we went to collect it.



We were lucky (sort of!), ours had been in a car accident previously - just had a small dint in the wing. There was an oil leak we had to put right but other than that it runs like a dream - a 2003 Mitsubishi Colt for £3000. Apparently the Cypriots are quite superstitious and if a car has been in an accident nobody will touch it with a barge pole so that's why it was so cheap. Great news for us, finally something at a decent price!
