Heard on the expat grapevine today that Lynx have pulled the plug on some sites they were managing, one of them the Evergreen one next to the place I was having a beer in, Emily's, dont want to spread gossip but just wanted to know if it is just pub gossip or is it true.

Also dont want to start ww3

In 2007 Lynx decided to pull out of a few Property Management deals for critical mass reasons- those were referred to other companies. Same in 2010 Lynx is considering letting go of another 4 or 5 smaller projects on the East side of Kyrenia- again standard business practice… should that be of interest to professional management companies we would happy to provide details and referral- please contact bolmez@lynxco.com

So the complex owners give you notice that they will not be renewing the contracts with you,basically because you dont give value for money and hardly ever show up on site and you announce that you are letting them go because it's standard buisness practice

Rob ( gooligan ) i'm not sure where you are getting your information from, but i am glad we decided to renew with Lynx, as i investigated other sites using other maintenance companies and to be honest Lynx were head and shoulders above the majority. It does not help anyone to snipe at a company for fun. Geoff

For me its not the management or maintenance company, most do a good job incl lynx its the people who dont pay maintenance, and we all know the debates (finish site etc) so really dont want to hear any more (though it'll come) they are happy for some to pay but they have a hundred and 1 reasons for not paying, so it drags on and on and people cant enjoy their investment cos it breeds sniping & accusations & counter accusations turns one agin the other weve all seen it on here in the past, all I wanted was an answer to a simple question and I got it as i said straight from the horses mouth, and it looks as if i read it right there is more to come.

if they are its hardly surprising you cannot run a site without people paying but there a few sites such a mess after the winter it must be hard to pick up the peices of bad builds



One site I wont say as it will start you all off is right mess, but is that the maintenance Companies fault - I dont't think it is the apartments look they are falling down the ravine !! walsl down big holes in the roads, they will never turn it round without the devlopers playing ball as well IMO
