Have a Great Saint Georges Day.

Be proud to be English, it's not a crime to celebrate your Countrys national day.

Ozbey,

She beat you to it by 2 hours clear - see: - http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/35004.asp

Very considerate of you to mention her name, and Guido's excellent cuisine though - you haven't got shares in it by any chance?

Happy St.Georges's day to all.

Probably a Roman soldier who certainly never set foot in England and hailed from what would today be called Palestine.

It doesn't matter a bit it is a day to celebrate and be thankful for being English, whatever that means to you beit Chaucer Shakespeare and Dickens or Tescos Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer.

Onto it..Gin and tonics purchased and roast beef and English cheeses and Port tonight. Almost put a St George flag in the car but couldn't find one today. Bet there's plenty around in a few months. Lovely Spring day here in Norwich.
