Arcelik service very good, so is the back up.

We have all Beko units and can't fault them, the Beko shop is a couple of doors along from Mr Pound. Konuk in there speaks perfect English, and will keep you informed.

If you go for Beko, don't be too tempted to go for the more expensive models, we have 1 in our collection, no better than all the others. 0392 815 5456.

When you arrive, don't forget to check the electrics in the house, you may have blank wall plates for where the electrics will be connected, but don't take it for granted that there are any cables pulled through the pipes to the AC point from the mains consumer unit, and make sure you have spare 20A fuses to connect the units to. A 20A alone for up to 24kBTU, but for smaller 9kBTU (bedrooms) you can easily connect 2 units to one fuse if you have dedicated wiring for the units, though chances are your builder has just tagged them onto the ring main anyway.

Whoever supplys and fits, make sure you run the units for at least 15-20 mins before they leave, one of our units didn't have the drain line connected properly and the condensation water ran down the wall inside. Service chap came next day to fix.

HI Portia,

Please contact me for the supply and installation of high quality, energy efficient a/c units. We guarantee our work and our equipment for 5 years.

We do not compete with the likes of Arcelik, Beko etc., who do not make their own units - they are "badged" units made for them in China and are neither high quality nor energy efficient.

Electricity in TRNC is now much more expensive than it was and it is very relevant to people who live here that their a/c is energy efficient.

We supply either either LG - the biggest a/c manufacturer in S.Korea, or Hitachi one of Japans leading manufacturers.

Hi Authentichoccie,

We service and repair a/c units (including regassing) as well as supplying and installing them.

Please contact me on vaughan@sunnycyprus.net with your details - name, address, phone number and the nature of the problem/enquiry. I would rather take e-mail requests than phone calls as this gives me a written copy to refer back to.

regards

Vaughan
