Depends what type of car it is. For example, road tax is based on age and weight of the vehicle, insurance is based on the value and cars over a certain age cannot be insured full comp.

what car are we talking about it it all goes on weight tax can be from 500tl a year 2000tl a year

Usually insurance is 240tl per year, 3rd party. If you want fully comp. you get two policies, 3rd party at 240tl and then fully comp at about 300tl, first year. There's no no claims bonus, the price seems to go up each year. Last year Vitara was 240 3rd party, Zafira 500tl fully comp. This year, Vitara still 240tl, Zafira 600tl. Turk Bankasi are offering a good deal just now, might use them in Oct when mine is due.

Tax goes on car's weight, I was paying 110tl for 1600cc Suzuki Vitara and 1050tl for Vauxhall Zafira. Last year it was 87tl and 945tl. Hope this helps
