Earthquake insurance

I understand the TRNC is situated in an earthquake zone, and have taken out insurance to cover a rebuild in the event of an earthquake.



Obviously this is fairly expensive. It occurred to me that other apartment owners are taking out insurance and we are all doing this independently. Surely, it would be of financial benefit to everyone if we approached Caesar Management to organise one policy for all blocks (which I am sure would be cheaper) and add this to our maintenance fee. Just wondered how everyone would feel about this?

you need complex block insurance so that the whole complex is insured otherwise you will be suing each other if not in place messsssy
