I had a tremendous meal at Guidos last night. You will be hard pushed to get a better valued meal in NC. Lilli told me that she is sick and tired of posting the menu because she keeps getting stick. I for one value her posts and told her to ignore those who like to criticise her.

I would like to see the menu of the day. We hoped to go to Guido's for the frirst time during our last holiday, but leaking pipes under the patio put paid to that idea. We spent 5 days scouring Kyrenia for tiles to match all the ones that were drilled up and broken.

I don't think that the people who expressed the opinion that they felt there were too many posts relating to Guidos were *enemies* of Liili nor are they sad bastards, they just have an opinion of their own which they are entitled to.

Nobody objects to the menu of the day being posted, or recommendations for Guidos, but if they are all under the one heading then everyone should be happy, I do feel that the most provocative posts on this subject have come in the main from * supporters * of Guidos, not the other way round.

Well done moderators for dealing with this issue with a common sense approach.

only one post a day is a good idea. But it would also be good if that post could not be commented on. If restaurants want to post one per day with event or meal deals on I think that is a great idea. Saves us trolling round the blackboards to see what we fancy doing that night. For those that are not interested no need to open the post to read it or complain about it.

I am sure they can lock it somehow so that only genuine people can advertise on a daily basis. This would stop the farcical threads that get started and then hijacked ( as this one is ).
