Could you explain to me, and t'others how you would choose which company to 'route' by?



For example : I call Russia a lot and would not want to use voipian.com, ( 5.9 € cents )but they are good for calling Romania





Currently I use a combination of SKYPE, Vonage [ bulk of calls to phones] , and Spokn for business use - as one has to use the service that is best for where you are calling and where you are calling from.



Many members would be interested to hear how they can use voIP - to make free calls for a fixed service fee.

we use voip for calls to Japan and England and find it to be excellent. We pay the equivalent of 10 dollars every 3 months and then the calls are free.

And, if you only call to landlines (not mobiles, for which VOIP12 charges €0.039 connection fee and €0.004 per minute) your 3 monthly €10 fee accumulates - so, when paying your second 3 monthly fee, and with not calling any mobile, your credit becomes €20, and so on.



A pretty good deal, compared with Skype, I would say!



One wonders why so many Brits have Skype 'tattoed' on their brain.........must be a 'household word', or something?

SKYPE is great for FREE calls, but they hope to get you hooked to SKYPE-OUT, SKYPEIN, etc., which aren't the best value products on the market..
