Good News,

Being ex R.A.F. just heard that the Vulcan will be flying at R.A.F. Waddington near Lincoln over the weekend. Only thing that can spoil my visit there is the weather. Guess what its going to rain on Sunday the day Im supposed to go there.

Still never mind - I served at three Vulcan bases during my time. So not new to the Vulcan but want to see it fly again for the first time in 15 years.

Regards all

Ron

The best display I ever saw was a three ship scramble at Farnborough back in the sixties. Three vulcans in echelon formation taking off together, the noise; the power; the spectacle. Absolutely awesome.

One of the most magnificent sights to see is the Vulcan taking off.

Anybody who has never seen one, if you get an opportunity do not miss it.

Ron, I am sure you will see the magnificent old lady.

Mysteron, Amazing news! I last saw the Vulcan fly I think it was Biggin Hill around 15 years ago along with the English Electric Lightning! Both Awesome aircraft, and the performance of both... incredible!

Enjoy your day!
