Football: Barca and Inter V the Referee

I turned down the offer of the delight of a meal out to watch the match billed as a football extravaganza. Early on, a limp wrist to the face followed by the recipient going to ground as if shot like Harold at Hastings. A yellow card for use of the hand and a yellow card for simulation to follow ? No, a red card. Thereafter Inter form a 9 man back 4 and Barca left to try and batter down the walls of Jericho. As a neutral I still do not know who deserved to get to the final thanks to the all too familiar brainless refereeing. Should perhaps of watched the snooker instead or gone for the culinary delight of instant indigestion. Hope most of you soccer fans fared better than me ! I am now left confused so will put the cat to bed and boot the wife out into the night (have I got that right ?).

I agree Sam , Inter defended brilliantly . Jose got it right over the two legs and in my opinion they deserved to get to the final.I also agree that the sending off was a joke , but it won Inter the game because they just sat back afterwards and soaked up all the Barca pressure. Jose is a top class coach and i wish the Gooners would snap him up when he leaves Inter. It will be tough against the Germans , but i think " The chosen one " will be lifting the trophy in May.
