Red ring of Death...unfortunately is not repairable, there are only temp fixtures for it.

Mine is cracked to play copy discs and it is a PAL although it will play any as it is region free

PAL or NTSC is not quite the same as region free. It has to do with the graphics resolution and screen size.

I think but might have it the wrong way round but PAL can if done right play NTSC discs but only about 7/8th of the original screen is shown but NTSC can't play PAL.

I am sure H can correct me on this but I have an NTSC Wii and bought a couple of PAL games which unless things have changed I can't play, or it might be the other way round.



Anyway, I think PAL is the european standard.

PAL is Europe and NTSC is US versions...however when the machine is chipped it will play both version but with slight differences like proger1 has mentioned.



Region Free means both pal and ntsc



Vrs-Dude if you want the Ghostbusters game let me know....It will take a few days for me to get them ready though.
