We called into Guidos to collect some toys and clothes for Ismails family, (we are hoping to go to see them on Sat.)

Liz called me to one side, she was almost in tears. A very kind little baby sat in the high chair, gave us 500 lira for Ismails fund,

Little Harvey the next time I see you the Rusks are on me. We reckon his parents played a bit a of a part in this very kind gesture,

Thank you , Have a good safe trip and look forward to seeing you when you return, xxx

Thank you everyone involved, wish you could all be there tommorow to see the smiles on the childrens face,

Ismails dad mentioned on our last visit, that they are now struggling to get food because of their credit situation at the local store,

I cannot go into the reasons why, but they are only now getting about 600 lira per Month and Cemal the dad is working a 12 hour night shift 6 days a week.

I dont think any one would have any objection to us having a look into this and trying to clear is food bill,

I wouldnt think it will be to much. What are your feelings please?

Hi Lee - we have an envelope here with some money for Ismail, which was raised by raffling a cake made by Gill, the cake lady, at our Easter Fayre! Sorry it's taken so long to contact you.

If you are in the Alsancak area (we are near Sunny Lane School), please drop by and pick it up - or contact me to arrange a meet somewhere.

Thanks

Vicki

I quite often see the postings on here about Ismail but I don't know what all the fundraising is about. Can someone tell me who Ismail is please because I would like to donate if possible as it seems to be a worthy cause judging by all the concern.

Thanks

Linnyloos.

Ismail is a wee boy that has had his arm amputated / removed / destroyed because of an accident in the bakery where his dad works.

He is being bullied at school and his family are at their wits end. I only know some of it but Lee and Jan are working like hell to give this kid a (normal) life by getting him a prosthetic arm.
