I thank you all for your patience with the power cut and for bearing with us. tonight was so hard as we had so many special order from oytwers, scollops, venision , dover sole and bon fillet. i had to do the bills in car headlights but we did it, i thank you all for your understanding

We have had a first powercut in 15 months. Fantastic anyway Liz you would be OK your warm glow would light the place up.

Well done Liz. It reminds me when I was there in March for Sun lunch and there was a

power cut - just as the Yorkshire puds. went in the oven! Nevertheless, we eventually got

a splended meal when the power was restored - and the puds. were great!

Hiya mark it was lovely, in the absrence of music it was so lovely for me to hear laughter and connversation, despite the night we all did well, how the hell they did uit in the kitchen, to open oysters takes a skill, not one bit of foof was left, a sign of a master. ii did my best and even when we had the lecckie back no one wanted to go, i loved the night xxxxxxxx
