RE: Bar 11 thread



Unfortunatly there was a mix - up when we arrived to set up at Bar 11 early Saturday evening, the owner was unavailable, and the staff were unaware of the booking. Bar 11 had not adverstised, and staff were unable to confirm that the bar had been issued with a music licence for that evening, because of this, the performance was cancelled. We did our best to inform all those we knew were coming, and appologise to anyone we missed, thank you for your support.



şamone are no longer performing their regular Friday evening at EGO's due to the bar being denied a music licence.



However,



şamone (minus 2) will be performing an acoustic set this Friday (tomorrow) at Passport restaurant in Girne from 8pm onwards, are hoping to perform at new bar RETRO, (Bellapais Road) in the not so distant future,

and are currnetly organising a special evening at the Altinkaya Residents Bar....along with anyone else who will have us!

thats a shame with Ego not being able to get a music license - why on earth not, others places around there do don't they?



Would recommend Ego (just off the cobbled steps, behind The Brasserie, down to the castle side of the harbour) if you fancy a laid back, chilled out evening with friends and drinks. They will even go and find a bottle of drink for you if they don't have it in stock! Shame about the music though.
