It has been reported that that all Government offices are on Strike Monday 0800-1700 including all Airport ground staff and traffic control. This will also affect boder crossings ? or will it ? Has any one any information on this please ? I am taking people to larnaca and would not wish to be unduly delayed. Many thanks.

Some people prefer bitching at others than proving they actually know anything, Nige. But on a lighter note about this public sector strike. Will anyone actually spot any difference?

I heard that it was for a day of health and saftey lectures as too many employees have sufferd from bad backs due to not being shown how to lift heavy weights properly. Specially trained senior members of the civil service will now show them the correct way to lift those heavy brown envelopes and the best way to carry them.
