I don't hear any Fat lady singing ..YET..

As unbiased observer, we need to see what happens @ Sunderland and IF Man U win - it is Chelsea's to lose .. if the Wigan that played Arsenal turn up , that's not a 'given' ...

well played Chelski and I am die hard Liverpool Fan!

We had nothing to really offer and showed our seaon is true and lets get rid of Rafa, Lucas, Kuyt. Ngog, and bring in youngsters!!

Who wants to buy a club withj so many average players, great fans- the best in the world and Im sure that even Dr Kop (as he is known)the man with the waistcoat with over 200 badges and never misses a game feels the same!!

Well done Fergie for taking it down to the last game as Sunderland will crumble!!!

Liverpool!!!!!! How embarrasing. For a club as big and proud as L'pool. No effort no commitment,no heart.Chelsea only had to turn up.A sad day for the club and football.

But the hatred felt by everyone who supports Liverpool for man united means it was not the motivation the team needed to know that if they beat Chelsea then Manchester united would be champions.

Call it what you want but why should Liverpool ever do the poxy mancs a favour by handing the title to them on a silver platter.

Do you think united would do us a favour ever ??? Would they hell. Plus steve Bruce was always gonna do ferguson any favour he could.

For once I was glad to see my team Liverpool get beaten.

Ste65.Then you are not a football supporter.Games are played to be won not for teams to roll over as the scouce scum did today. As a neutral it's very worrying that this can happen and even more so from a once great club like L'pool.

As a life long Liverpool fan, i have to admit that we have been terrible this season. Not played well all year and have not deserved to finish in the top four ( although we will somehow probably managed to finish 6th ) The one thing that will trouble the Man u fans is that even though we played crap all year we still managed to beat them at Anfield, and by doing so have cost them the chance of beating the title record. So every cloud has a silver linning!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geoff. So sad all L'pool can think of achieving is trying to alter another clubs destiny. They used to have ambitionns of there own.Championship next year and they can perhaps influence Leed's season.????

I didn't see the Liverpool game today. But I am happy with the result. It's immaterial to Liverpool they got beat today. Did they throw the game?? Who knows. Did they look like they threw the game?? Maybe someone can comment.

I am a good supporter and every Liverpool supporter despises the manc scum so you can all go.

As a Leeds fan who has adopted Man U whilst in Cyprus, and a firm believer in the ABC of football (Anyone But Chelsea) I have to say, well done Chelsea, you deserve to be champions, and good luck in the Euro Champs Cup next year. I hope you play well enough the be beat by Man U in the final, but nobody else

Berbatov was rubbish.... three or more sitters and no goal. His days are numbered.

Rooney's frustration with him was palpable.. He worked his socks off providing ample opportunities for Berbatov only for them to be squandered in a casual manner.

The very least he could have done is run up and apologised to his mates, if that's what they are.... somehow I don't think they have much time for his mincing about.

I am not quite sure why 'educated' people should resort to profanities when there is a football thread involved but please keep it under control otherwise the thread will be closed.

I wonder if the assist by Steve G for Drogba's killer goal could be a matter for an FA investigation? As a litigator, I would fancy my chances at making the case. Anyway here's the certainty Benitez sacked and Hodgson in.

Ok a bad season for Liverpool and we deserve to be in the position if not worse.

But we all support our teams with passion and yes we have a few major problems to overcome this summer

New Manager

New Stadium

New Owner

New Striker

New Carragher and Gerard- we need to bring through youth and not panic buy and waste money, we shall be holding a trophy next season and haha I hope its not the 'Merseyside Cup'!!

Man U and Chelsea are good teams but can be beaten as can Arsenal, Spurs and yes Everton so watch the Liver Bird have a better season next year!!

msg 23: My son, who flies a Leeds U flag from his garage, refuses to discuss football with me. He, like I, was brought up to hate the "scum", but when push comes to shove you have to adapt, or adopt.

Being that most of the guys, and gals, here, support the London teams, you have to have a shout. I still wear my Leeds or Rhinos shirt when I go to watch football at the pub. May switch to Man City next year if they get Torres.

Message 16 - "I have adopted Man U"

As a 'supposed' Leeds fan that says so much about you.

Leeds have been on TV 16 times already this season and you can listen to every single game live on LUTV fior £40 a year. But any true fan would of course know that already.

MOT, well almost!

And I suppose your profile says so much about you, no photo, e-mail address hidden, you weren't an army sniper were you.

I was a season ticket holder at Headingley, Rugby comes second only to boxing as my favourite sport. Football is only a game, despite what Shankly said. How many rugby league fans do you know in Cyprus. I "support" Man U simply to be "involved" in the debate. Get a life

thought it a bit queer that theoddmajor would have a pop at me. Not much to do on a cold day in May, in UK, so,

I find that the last message posted on the BRS treasurer's resignation thread was my me, urging BRS members not to think the worst until the facts are known.

The two postings before mine were from, guess who. He printed a disclaimer, don't we all before making unambiguous statements hat may rebound. What can you expect though from him, look at his profile. On second thoughts, don't bother, he hasn't got one.

Tony

ps mebbe that's why he's called theODDmajor. Nowt as queer as folk, as we say in Yorkshire

As usual Paul, you are correct. Just got sidetracked by another selfimportant "journalist"??

HG Wells would be proud of him.

Hope to see you in the championship next year. One of my Hull pals, JR, aka Baba Noel, is a bit sick about the "drop". As he supports Hull RL he hasn't much to console himself with.

If you fancy a short range holiday, you can hire one of my caravans on Skipsea Sands Holiday Park, mates rates apply, see, we're neighbours. Get loadsa 'ull folk here.

No, the golf course belongs to Far Grange, played there last week, £20 and that included hire of milk float.

Skipsea Sands is closer to Brid. From golf course head towards Brid. Road bends to the left at Skipsea, first right is a cul de sac, second right goes straight to Skipsea Sands Holiday Park. Park Resorts own the site, charge up to £854 for one week caravan hire. My top price is £490, mates rates is 50%. of this.

clayton were liverpool are in the prem . Only reflects a bad season . They can at least manage there club debts . Unlike the manures who (watch this space) . will struggle next season to stay afloat . Debts of £850 million pounds and rising. Maybe there neighbours from eastlands will give them a loan . ps. were is your side kick Andyf face or is it Dumber . bet he,s barred from posting again .

only one bad season, and they can manage there debts who told you that.as for the club from wastelands lending us money,i think they are being a bit cautious with there money.birmingham wanted 1.2million pounds per game to send joe hart back, the wastelands club totaly refused it.so if they dont get that 4th spot, through not having a good keeper.who.s fault will it be then surely not the wealthy owners with money to burn.informatoin on this is right from the horses mouth as they say joe hart.

Dont worry Newlad/Andy F/Loulouis

My home town team wont let us down on Sunday they will get a point at Stamford Bridge at the weekend.

We have already beaten Chelsea,Arsenal and the Bindippers this season all be it at the DW.

I just hope Charles NzOgbia plays if Valencia was worth 15 mill then Charlie's worth at least 20 mill.

My prediction for Sunday 1 1 and United to beat Stoke 3 0

Four in a row for Utd .

And the end of LouLouis postings for at least a couple of months till the new season starts then he can bleat on about the great Liverpool teams of the seventies sad really that people only have distant memories to cheer them up.

Keep posting

Keep smiling
