Can anyone recommend a really good local white or rose wine. I am really into Pinot Grigio Blush at the moment and wondered whether there was anything similar around so when we go to a local supermarket when we come over we can buy it without having to try every bottle out first before I find that right one and enjoy it!!! Thank you!

There is a lovely white wine in the Sarafin range. It's about 25ytl a bottle, but that really does indicate the quality. The sauvignan blanc in the range is particularly nice. I'm not really into rose so I can't help you much there, but as for white wines, the Angora and Cankaya are also really nice for the price. I have a friend who is also really into the Moldovan sparkling wines. I think the brand is Cricova and I am sure they do a sparkling blush style bottle. very inexpensive too.

Try Villa Doluca for a dryish rose NOT Doluca or if you prefer a medium Rosato is very good 9ytl clear bottle with rose bud top right of label both Turkish wines and go down so well sipping in the sun (too well sometimes if in company)
