A freind is trying to join the Forum and has had difficulties with his email address coming up as invalid. Have tried to email Izzet but have had that returned. Could somebody please advise? Many thanks in anticipation.

try and e mail someone you might have a fault with your server you are wellcome to e mail me i will reply as soon as it comes through

You must have a paid e.mail address before you can join. Free ones like g.mail or hotmail do not qualify. Oh yes my e.mail address is free but fortunately I got in before this new rule.

My friends email address is .................live.co.uk and I believe this is a free service. Can he contact Izzet to sort this out?

Don't bother joining this forum.......it's pathetic...not much "Useful" information, just a bunch of whingers really AND always having a go at Guido and Lilly ( a finer couple you could not meet) there used to be a guy called littlenige who posted.....he was brilliant but sadly don't see him anymore. Folks,

I recently attempted to set up an account for my wife but couldn't use either her hotmail or live.com because they don't qualify. I then used my mobile me account (paid for), my own web address mail system (paid for) and my work address (work) just to test it and none worked. I mailed Izzet and he very helpfully contacted me within 24 hours and explained that only paid for and work addresses that are already accepted will automatically get in so if you can't get in send him a mail with the details of your mail address and he can add it to the allowable list.

If your friend has his e-mail returned I suggest you as an already qualified member ask them to e-mail you and you can forward it to Izzet.



Although Izzet was very helpful and would have set it up for her I decided not to enroll my wife, see message 8 for reasons.



I think the forum is great but I am afraid there are just a few too many people I don't like on here lately to make it a sociable site.

Proger,

It takes all sorts to make this world go round. Whatever the admins do they cannot win. You ban somebody for breaking the rules and there are always people supporting them. You delete an offensive post and there is always some who will object. this is true for everypopular forum. so we have to accept it as part of life and make the best of it.

Ismet, I really hope that my post didn't sound like I was chastising either Izzet or the mods, I have absolutely no issues with either. That isn't quite true, I think it was a mistake to change the system for multi posting on businesses, not because it was a bad system but because those who were complaining about the existing system (a small minority), who probably now think they can get what they want whenever they want it.

My reasons for not joining my wife are because she is not fluent in written english and even though I like to think I am there are too many people out there who will missread what is posted so that they can create an issue. It winds me up to the point of near abusiveness and I don't want to subject my wife to that.

I do love North Cyprus and the vast majority of people I meet there but if people behaved in real life as antagonisticly as they do on the forum there would be war on the streets.

There is no respect on here and I won't subject my wife to that.
