Pool cleaning lessons are now being offered by Zerochlor & Splash pools, the 7 day course will be undertaken here at Sunset club, with the final day being supervised at your own pool, the cost of the course will be £100, and all the equipment needed can be supplied at a discounted rate.

If you are not resident in Cyprus we here at Zerochlor or Splash pools will take over the cleaning of your pool whilst you are away, leaving you to resume cleaning when you come back.

Application forms can be filled in at zerochlor shop catalkoy or sunset club lapta.

An excellent idea, the £100 will soon be recouped from the savings on pool maintenence.

I have always done my own after "training" from a friend.

It is so easy to do your own once you know which valves to open and close so you do not flood the pump room!! lol

A personal view, anyone who lives here full time is crazy to pay, especially to some of the less reputable people, to have your pool maintained.

I find it quite cathartic hoovering the pool because it is steady away to do a good job and you can just switch yourself off.

Just think, in 2 months you will have paid for the course and then you are quids in with lots more money for Efes!!!

Good luck zerochlor, if you are not inundated then there are a lot of people who love wasting money.

Rather than start a new topic (and run the risk of it being closed!). I would like to ask, what is the "shelf-life" of Zerochlor?

Also, do you have any advice/suggestions on storing the product?

Thanks

PS. I now realise as it's a day after your original topic, I could have started a new one! Rules, rules, rules.

PPS. Great idea for training. Me and my neighbour were trained by a local company when we arrived. It's saved me £80 per month for 4 years! Less a few quid for equipment/chems, etc. I agree with Cyprusishome, it's also very relaxing vacuuming your own pool. What does "cathartic" mean?

Brilliant idea Dave and about time too! I'm amazed more people aren't taking you up on your offer having seen the folk who "clean" the pools on our estate. It takes them 10 minutes per pool and people are shelling out £50 a month for this!!!!! As you know we bought our own equipment, had a quick guide to dials and knobs, bought our Zerochlor and never looked back Trust me, if we can can do it anyone can!

Good idea but a 7 day course seems rather a long time. I taught my neighbour in 1 hour last year and he is now cleaning 27 pools on the island. Not seen a penny in commissions though. Hope you teach the people that it doesn't need 1/2 a ton of water to backwash each time, which seems to be a favorite here with some pool companies.

Good luck with the course though.

Cheers Message 7.

message 8. no shelf life as long is it not opened, its in a air tight container, better kept in dark cool place.

And yes it is quite nice to just wonder off into your own little world while vacuming your own pool, and knowing you are cleaning it nice and slow and not just pushing the vac along the pool floor so quickly that you just dispurse the dirt into the water, next morning it has all settled again.

Message 9

Barry AKA snakes. approx 2 hours for 6 days.then the 7th day a little test at your own home and help to draw a idiots chart and number your knobs in your pump room for you.

Remember, were not just teaching you to clean your pool,WERE TEACHING YOU TO CLEAN YOUR POOL THE ZEROCHLOR WAY.

Message 11. maybe the way i would learn you to clean a pool is alot diffrent to the way you already clean yours and taught your friend, its not only cleaning,it equipment, chemical handling, ect ect

Plus basic common sense when in your pump room, which i think youll agree is important, it will be £100 well spent and to sit back with the drink of your choice and look at your beautiful clean pool which you have done yourself ,im sure youll be smiling every time you pass that mirror.

Hi zerochlor

So the zerochlor replaces the chlorine. How long does it last in the pool and how does it compare in price. Does it also replace the ph chemicals used. Sorry so many questions and you have probably already answered these several times on here. Cheers

Hi Steve. message 17

Zerochlor does replace the chlorine,so non chlorine. with zerochlor youll never buy algeaside or flockulant as it has it already inside.

Zerochlor does not replace PH chemical. as with any sanitiser for pools youll have to look after your PH level on your pool and if it gets to high, use PH- and if too low PH+

Dont worry about the questions you ask,im always happy to answer them, keeps me on the ball!

Tarry67

sorry,i missed part of your question.

Zerochlor normally last 1 month in your pool before you need to top up again.

If you wish to contact me at the shop we can offer a discount at the moment on 1 years supply as i was lucky enough to secure a small grant from a very well known green agency .

Welcome to my thread!

your 10x5 pool could cost 55 to 60 pounds per month if you are around the catalkoy or ozankoy esentepe area. that is if your pool does not have many leaks, but being in cyprus,i suppose your pool does not leak ! please give me a call if your a serious zerochlor curious customer, i look forward to speaking to you.

my shop is in catalkoy.
