We are over in June with family and are thinking of booking one of the Sunset boat trips with a meal on board.

Any recommendations would be appreciated also if you have had a bad experience then info on who to avoid would also be appreciated.

We did the half day trip and it was brilliant. I would suggest you try that. A whole day might have been a bit much.

Hi Kenny.

We can offer you our unique and original "Sunset Curry Cruise" on "The African Queen" ( http://www.sailcyprus.com )

Please see ...

http://www.sailcyprus.com/site/Sunset_Curry_Cruise.html

It was reviewed independently in the Cyprus Today Newspaper last year - you can read this review here ...

http://www.sailcyprus.com/site/Sunset_Curry_Cruise_files/CYP%20TODAY%20SCC_1.jpg

The British Residents Society of North Cyprus have already booked The African Queen for a Sunset Curry Cruise on the 9th July 2010 to raise money for charity. They did it last year too. Hopefully this is a good recommendation for you also.

You can call us on 00 90 533 876 3666 or eMail info@sailcyprus.com, we are on the left side of the Tourist info office in the Old Harbour.

Happy to help any time,

Gengiz.

BLUEBIRD GULLET

Enjoy the sea breeze and sparkling waters and really great food.

Have a great day - evening or night tour with Captain Bayram aboard the Blue Bird.

If you want to go out on a big flash 'stainless steel/fibreglass boat' then we are NOT for you. This boat is from Turkish waters (being an original wooden gulet) with lots of character - just like the Captain !

Lunch includes

Fresh mezes - fish and chicken cooked to the Captain's special recipe

Fun includes

Snokellling - Swimming – pulling the Captains leg

(jet ski - other water sports at extra cost alongside the boat).

Tel 0542 8515522. Over 30 years of experience

TIP You should really consider a tour to see the Sun go down - its an experience not to be missed.

Our sunset curry cruise on African Queen began in the old harbour and progressed to the new harbour where curry was enjoyed. AND THAT WAS IT!! The power failed, no engine, no lights and it got dark. Finally we were escorted back to the old harbour by a passing coastguard boat.

I think I would go with the Sabrinas, if our experience was anything to go by, BUT African Queen has been re-vamped so maybe now you get to see the sunset. Being stuck behind the new harbour wall we missed it!!

Good curry though!
