Hello there, I have heard that the Cafe nextdoor to Frescos has closed. They were the only place that I used to get a 'Fatboys Breakfast' on a saturday before a day on the 'lash' Reason why thry were different was it was the ONLY place that did proper fried bread and not toast- is there anywhere else that serves up my special delicacy in Alcancak/Lapta?

Ailletoo "low life brits hang out here!" why do you have to be low life to enjoy a full english breakfast!! it's an institution, enjoyed by brits from all walks of life, all over the world! my hubby and his mates enjoy my full english and they are certainly not "low life" x

Are you trying to suggest all English people that likes an English Breakfast are low life, too paint everyone with the same brush is wrong, how judgemental can you get. I myself am an ex Senior Social Services Manager and can assure you am not a low life, but I still enjoy a good English Breakfast now and then.

Ailtoo, what on earth makes you make comments like that!! As I made a point in another thread- you cant have a mature debate on this site without self opiniated people! My case hase been rested. Thanks to the other contributors for their words of wisdom, and only JKs and the new Cafe at Frescos has been mentioned so far I was hoping to hear about other places that do FRIED BREAD!

Mouth watering! Ask for bread to be fried in a little olive oil rather than fat. Cut down your Lipitor tablets from 40 Mil strength and make your "Rennies" go further. Plan can go awry if you drink many EFES rather than Tea or Coffee with the meal. Thats what I call the high life not low life !

Ailletoo, A full Irish can be even worse but you cannot tar everyone eating either with the same brush! I haven't had afull English outside hotels on business for years. As it happened last Sunday I was up early with lots of jobs to do. By 9.30 I was famished and went to Emilys. For those who haven't been it is in Bahceli opposite Blue Bay apartments. Super breakfast, small or large on offer. Nobody could possibly complain about anything.

Why not try cooking your OWN breakfast in your OWN home, then you will get exactly what you want, at the time you want it.....AND in this day and age of Political correctness you are not allowed to call it "English" breakfast that is Racist! it breaches the Human Rights of other UK residents......it has to be called Full Cooked Breakfast !!!!

I make it my mission to cook my wife's breakfast EVERY Sunday OR take her out for Brunch if she chooses. It is my way of saying "ThankYou" to her for all that she does for me, cooks me a meal every night, keeps the house as clean as a new pin, Laundry, Ironing, Shopping etc etc....I work a 10 hour shift in a Shipyard 6 days out of Seven. If I had a normal job I would obviously share the Domestics....however, it gives me immense pleasure to see her enjoy the fruits of my Labour at the table on a Sunday.....bliss. All this talk has made me bleary eyed....it's Friday PM so I think I will leave early, pop into Shop on the way home and get her some Flowers and a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to cheer her up.
