That thieving MP Andrew Dismore who has probably done as much for solving the Cyprus problem as Christofias, has lost his Hendon seat.

Embargoed made a concerted effort according to CT to try to persuade people not to vote for him and it worked. He only lost by 106 votes but a loss is a loss.

Thank you people of Hendon for dismissing this man (a) for the benefit of Cyprus and (b) because he is a parliamentary fraudster out of the top drawer.

Yep, now he can go back to doing what he's really skilled at.... serving chips whilst stealing from his employer.

Did any MP's caught with their hands in the till get re-elected? If they did the electorate are mugs. If they didn't, it bloody well serves them right.

Here in Northern Ireland, the leader of the Democratic Unionist Party, Peter Robinson has not retained his seat either. It may have been the scandal of his wife Iris who at the age of 60 had an affair with a 20 year old and had to resign her seat early this year and is said to be receiving psyciatric help.

Or that they were both caught taking backhanders from builders in return for planning permission, either way it is a very big dent in his salary. Hope he had some stashed for 'The rainy day' ooops!

One of the biggest Labour culprits Hazel Briers kept her seat in Salford, could be a traditional voting area by close knit families.

To be honest I think any MP who had to repay anything should be barred from standing by their parties. It's a matter of principle and probity.

How can we trust them? We can't...
