Why are you stopping these very good buffet nights?

You said they would be all year round

Please reconsider and check message 43 & 44 on this thread.

Hi Carlin Lapta.

yes i did say to keep it all year but you know, season is started and holiday makers dont want buffet. thay ask for normal menu which creates a little mixup in kitchen, its why i have to stop for the moment. sorry about this. i will restart in octuber.

Regards.

Thats just typical, People who support you all year round have to suffer because its tourist season, and how do you know so early in the season what the tourist wants.

Well whatever your decision, you have lost mine & my friends custom now!!!!

Message 8, how serious are you, sorry Jeff is not doing buffet night now, we will miss it, but there is a large menu, and I am sure he is getting tourists visiting him now, as we can see N Cyprus is getting busy, unfortunately not busy enough for the amount restaurants and holiday villages we have here, but they all have to make money when they can and not all tourists are looking for the cheapest holiday they can find, some don't mind paying for good food, and lets be honest we can all go to a lot of places if our concern is about price, are you one of the people who go once every month and eat enough to last you, cos I quite honestly think that without buffet prices there are very competitive, but then I just want to eat what I want, and if the food is good is does not come into it, but then if I want over sized portions (which I don't, have to think about weight now, with such good food available on this Island) I can order 2, so maybe Taj Mahal's loss is a blessing, (see next post

All I can add is that if you prefer Jeffs' buffet compared to his usual extensive menu then you must prefer quantity rather than quality !!!

We really enjoyed the buffet last night, and if it had not been advertised as the last of the season, would probably nothave gone, as we have got into the Jashan's, Punjab, Coutyard habit. Another Indian restaurant is now in the list, which we will use in the season and look forward to the buffets again in October.... and thanks very much to Jeff for going the extra mile for this awkward vegetarian!

Hope the Karpaz was nice and you didnt get too badly bitten or pooped on by the bats. LOL

There was certainly enough food to go around and the quality was not the least bit compromised. I don't eat huge amounts but the portions I ate were all delicious. I did not see anyone eating massive portions!

We support Jeff on other nights too so have tried his dishes from his extensive menu!

Sorry, not sure how the last message got repeated, but I suspect it was my computer-illiterate husband who pressed the wrong button!

Had a great time in the Karpaz, Steve! Did not get pooped on by bats, but was disappointed we did not see any donkeys, even when we went looking for them in the reserve.

Glad to hear, you are doing another buffet, Jeff, as they seem to be very successful.... and delicious!
